November 10, 2024—- Just before sunset, the Kids & Family Fair BIDA HERO Caravan took a stop at the entrance statement of Westwind at Lancaster New City, to provide the perfect backdrop for the event. Clad in their green uniform, the Navarro Green Cavaliers Drum & Lyre Corps welcomed guests with their energetic band performance. As the crowd grew, a magic show entertained both the kids and their parents.
Westwind at Lancaster New City surprised the kids with loot bags, adding to the delight of the young crowd. “Nag-eenjoy po yung mga bata sa activities. Sobrang saya po lalo ng mga bata at meron pang giveaways,” says Jaja Dumanon of KS27, whose son performed in the band.
Narissa Gloton, a mom from KS16, joined the event for the first time: “nag-perform sa band yung isang anak ko, majorette sya. First time ng mga anak ko sa BIDA HERO Caravan, nag-enjoy sila. Pati sa magic show.”
Organized in 2018 by the GalingLNC volunteer movement with property manager, OnGround Partners, the Kids & Family Fair (KFF) is a festival-themed activity aimed at fostering a strong sense of family and community values. In order to reach participants in a more focused and orderly manner that is safe for the kids, KFF was brought closer to homes through the BIDA HERO Caravan. This year, approximately 3,000 kids and parents joined the events from 29 villages in Lancaster New City and Micara Estates Tanza.
“The Westwind team joined today’s BIDA HERO Caravan for us to be closer with our existing homeowners here in Lancaster and to promote their newest condo village inside this township. We already have homeowners who view Westwind as their next home as they enter a new phase in their lives, while wanting to still be part of the Lancaster community. It’s not just about the building, but more on the community inside the development. Just as what you see here in Lancaster, we are expecting as well a good community in Westwind,” says Jerome Cabanera, Westwind’s Media and Marketing Services.
